About Us
About the practice
Crockard Building Design was founded in 1993 by Ian Crockard, we are based in County Down but have taken on projects across Northern Ireland and beyond.
From modest makeovers to large-scale developments — we’ve done it all. Our project range spans residential extensions, new-build homes, commercial, community, and industrial buildings.
As a practice, we believe we have a responsibility to protect and enhance the quality of our built environment and to create buildings that not only respond to the needs of our clients but also to the buildings’ context within their urban or rural landscape.
We see every project as unique. Our goal: architecture that listens — to your needs, to the site, to the surroundings.
Smart materials. Thoughtful systems. Sustainable choices. We balance vision with responsibility — each decision grounded in its impact on place.
